hello & welcome to my little archive of meta. most of this is very frivolous and probably incoherent, because sometimes i need to ramble (at length) about things that ultimately don't matter in the grand scheme of things but matter very much to me in the moment. also, i just think rambling into the void is fun. it's like an extremely low stakes form of essay-writing. enjoy!

what is meta, exactly?

meta is typically understood as analysis of a piece of media or fandom itself. there is no set structure or rules for writing meta - it can be as involved (i.e. including sources) or as laissez-faire as you want, the core goal is just to express and defend your viewpoint.
